The location was a nice 5 minute drive from town with a beautiful 180° landscape view of Armidale as you drive into town from the property. Although there was no physical lobby/reception, it was an easy online check-in prior to arrival. The staff greeted us in a friendly manner to hand over the key card and brief summary of facilities at our disposal. It was a pleasant surprise to know that we were able to feed a few tame deer secured by a petting fence towards the back of the premises. They were placid and gentle for my toddler to pet and feed. The rooms were a great size for a family of 4. Usually with hotels you only get an option of two beds. Our room had 2 single beds and one double bed as well. I requested a cot for $15/night. This made it comfortable for my toddler to have his own bed and my baby in the cot. Leaving mr and my mum to have a bed to ourselves. The bathroom was a decent size with a large shower. The continental breakfast was included in our stay and consisted of toast with condiments and several cereals.

Love the location and the room. The room was spacious, lighting was excellent and accommodating our needs. Loved the property overall Having two tables with lots of power points were very convenient especially with setting up study area. Having the little kitchen area with the microwave and toaster if we didn’t want to have the Continental breakfast. I might add the variety of cereal, fruit salad and toast was great. The rooms were warm throughout the night. Which is fabulous since the area gets very Cold. The host was lovely and sadly we missed out on feeding the deer simple in the timing. Perfect for older uni students who don’t want to be in dorm rooms.

It was a last minute booking with late check in required at about 1:30am. I got immediate confirmation and Information about how to access the keys. The rooms were clean and we also got a cot for our baby at no extra cost. All the requirements were fulfilled. Very happy with our stay. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I forgot my wedding ring in the room and I came back to pick it up later after checking out. They gave me access to the room again without any problems. Thank you so much to the lovely guy who helped without hesitation. We will definitely staying here anytime visiting the area around. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a pet friendly room and it was a little different. The room is huge the walls were plywood. I think this was a styling choice but left me wondering if the rooms are finished. Bathroom was fine and the room was fine. Just differently appointed to most motels I have stayed in - much bigger room as well. It was terrific value. Amazed to see that there are actually deer and deer feeding as the motel is on a main road just over 2km from the centre of town. FYI - there was 0 road noise.

Room was clean however under the beds were a little dusty, we noticed as a result of my daughters shoes being caught up on a large strap that came out from under the bed. The free deer feeding was a lovely highlight, many wonderful photos and the caretaker was informative. Great Smart T.V and air conditioner. Beds, linen and towels were all clean and comfortable
